Zlatan Ibrahimovic Takes Out Full Page in LA Times Saying ‘You’re Welcome’ As He Arrives For Galaxy

Think maybe Ibra has a bit of an ego, or no?

Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s move to MLS has been in the works for quite some time and has been rumored for forever; it was no secret. On Friday he confirmed the reports and rumors as he officially joined the LA Galaxy.

He made the announcement in Zlatan fashion, too. The 36-year-old Swedish forward took out a full page in the LA Times to deliver a five-word message to his new home: Dear Los Angeles, You’re Welcome.

For those that don’t keep up with Ibra, he’s a guy that doesn’t lack any confidence. He’s one of those guys that talks in the third person, calls himself a lion and hell, even in his first interview with the Galaxy he literally said “I look forward to conquering the US.”

The man legit said “you’re welcome” in a full-page ad as his first move in Los Angeles. You have to wonder what his new teammates are thinking as that stuff hits their Twitter feed.

I’d put the cockiness and confidence of Ibrahimovic up against any person in Los Angeles, maybe even the world.
