Tom Izzo Is Just A Regular Dude, Eats Popcorn Off The Floor Like Everyone Else
Izzo is hungry for the Spartans season to get underway.
Tom Izzo is the man. Yeah, if you’re a fan of any other Big Ten school you probably don’t like him too much, but the dude just looks like he knows how to live. He also seems like the kind of guy that doesn’t take anything for granted and he certainly gets the most out of his players.
He also gets the most out of the food he purchases as well apparently and that includes picking up a piece of popcorn off the floor and popping it into his mouth with absolutely no hesitation.
Izzo was in attendance at Peach Jam in North Augusta, South Carolina.
Now plenty of you are thinking that it’s absolutely disgusting that he picked up the piece of popcorn on this concourse floor outside the gym and you’re not wrong, but you’ve got to respect the move.
Any sane person would pull this off in their own kitchen or living room or whatever, but at an arena? Yeah, nobody over the age of around 4-years-old is doing that. Maybe he didn’t know the dude next to him very well at all, he noticed that he saw him drop the popcorn and he didn’t want the kernel to make things awkward. Maybe the guy next to him was a big-wig at the event or a big-wig at the venue. Who the hell knows?
But again, you have to respect it, even if you find it gross. The floor does look spotless.
