Tiger Woods has been experimenting with clubs over the past few months after Nike announced that they leaving the golf club making business.

On Wednesday, Woods announced that he will be playing Taylormade clubs starting at the Farmers Insurance Open in San Diego this week:

Tiger has been a Nike guy for as long as anyone can remember, but he did play Taylormade clubs during his 1995 and 1994 U.S. Amateur wins.

Woods announced a few weeks back that he will be playing a Bridgestone ball which is no real shock as Bridgestone used to make Nike balls.

As far as apparel, Woods will still be rocking the Nike swoosh and his own personal TW logo so nothing is changing on that front.

Putter wise, Woods will be rolling with his Scotty Cameron putter he won 13 majors with. It still blows my mind he ever let that thing out of his eye sight and experimented with Nike putters, but hey, he’s gone back to old trusty for now which is great. This thing is so special that Woods doesn’t let his children touch the thing.

Big Cat is back with some new clubs and hits the links tomorrow. Let’s get it on.
