Strippers At The Cheetah Lounge Knew About Joe Moorhead’s Hiring At Mississippi State Before Anyone
If this isn’t one of the greatest ‘source’ stories in the history of the Internet, then what is?
This right here folks is a story. Message boards run college football and they’re read more religiously among SEC football fans than the Bible. This comment by ‘imissplatinumplus’ is the greatest thing to ever grace any message board and it actually was 100% accurate.
For those that don’t know the Cheetah Lounge is a very famous strip club in Atlanta and that is where this story begins.
If my info from the Cheetah Lounge is correct…
For those that don’t know that’s a great little establishment in Atlanta.
there is a nice lady that “works for tips” and she has a good friend that is uber driver / door man on the side.
Said driver in between airport trips not at the club was able to over hear a conversation between a coach and his agent.
that info got relayed by stripper to Miss Platinum just earlier.
bottom line Moorehead is the guy and he is working to keep Grantham.
So from a Uber to a stripper to the pack. Hail State! Hail Morehead!
This man was in a strip club, overheard/was told by one of the dancers that one of her friends, an Uber driver, was told that Joe Moorhead would be announced as the new head coach of Mississippi State.
This comment was posted Monday afternoon.
Tuesday night ESPN announced the news that Moorhead would officially be named the Bulldogs’ newest coach. The news pretty much came out of nowhere as nobody was reporting any sort of rumors. They clearly weren’t at Cheetah Lounge earlier this week.
Just imagine this person posting this. First of all, he went out of his way to post a rumor to a message board while at a strip club. I mean, we can only assume he did this at the club or just after he left. It’s also worth noting the comment was posted at 4:46 PM on a Monday.
Secondly, he was probably super hype about posting it because it’s a win-win situation. It’s funny to begin with, but it also could be true. It turned out to be exactly both of those things.
Don’t be too surprised when you see your favorite sports reporter hanging out at a strip club. He’s just there to get breaking news info.
