Per Report, Tiger Woods Arrested For DUI Monday Morning In Florida

UPDATE: Via A.J. Perez of USA Today, Woods was arrested for ‘suspicion of driving under the influence’ which is what the online jail records say according to Perez. “Woods was booked into the Palm Beach County jail Monday at 7:18 a.m. ET on Monday after being arrested by police in Jupiter, Fla. He was released on his own recognizance at 10:50 a.m.”

According to WPLTV out of West Palm Beach, Florida, Tiger Woods was arrested on DUI charges early Monday morning in Jupiter Florida.

“Woods, a Jupiter Island resident, was taken into custody at 3 a.m. on Military Trail South of Indian Creek Parkway.

Palm Beach County Jail records indicate Woods was released from custody at 10:50 a.m.”

All of this news comes only a few days after Tiger released a lengthy statement on his blog about his surgery recovery, how he’s feeling and basically just an update on his life.

Here is an excerpt from the update he gave a few days ago:

But, I want to say unequivocally, I want to play professional golf again.

Presently, I’m not looking ahead. I can’t twist for another two and a half to three months. Right now, my sole focus is rehab and doing what the doctors tell me. I am concentrating on short-term goals.
