There are three players that need to be on your Masters radar, only three.

It’s finally here. The Masters is finally here. The greatest four-day stretch in all of sports is upon us.

With that being said, it’s time to make some picks. We took a look at some sleeper picks for this year’s tournament and now it’s time to look at three guys we know will be in contention come Sunday and one of the three will wear a green jacket come the end of the weekend. We guarantee that.

Hideki Matsuyama

He’s 25-years-old and has never won a major championship, but he’s also the №4 player in the world for a reason.

Matsuyama has the game to win anywhere on the planet. He has the game, creativity and the cajones to win at Augusta. Matsuyama has four PGA Tour wins after winning the Waste Management back in February and he simply has so much game it’s absurd.

Matsuyama has a fifth place finish at The Masters (2015) and he tied for seventh a year ago. He’s clearly comfortable at Augusta and this year may just be the year he breaks through.

Again, he has the game to win anywhere and maybe Augusta is that anywhere this year. He’s ready to breakthrough and officially join the ranks of the top golfers on the planet and this week could be his time to shine.

Rickie Fowler

Augusta only crowns creative golfers and Rickie Fowler is all about some creativity. He can shape shots with the best in the world and has an unbelievable imagination on the golf course.

Fowler also enters the tournament playing extremely good golf. He won the Honda Classic back in late February and finished in a tie for third a week ago at the Houston Open. Momentum is a good thing and Fowler has plenty of it.

Fowler is also a player that hasn’t won a major and missed the cut at last year’s Masters. That was last year however.

He tied for fifth in 2014 and tied for 12th the year prior showing he knows how to play the golf course. Last year’s opening round of 80 sunk the color orange lover, so he’ll be looking to revenge that on Thursday. If Fowler gets on an early run or just stays out of trouble on Thursday he will be towards the top of the leaderboard come Sunday.

Watch out if his driver and long irons are working.

Rory McIlroy

Rory is looking to complete the career grand slam this week and this week seems better than any other time to do it, right?

He’s finished in the top ten in each of his last three Masters and has shown he understands Augusta. The thing about Rory’s game, and anyone else’s for that matter, is one bad shot or one horrible hole can ruin your entire week. Rory simply needs to be in contention come the weekend and take advantage of the situation.

There is no denying McIlroy has all the talent in the world. He is long as hell off the tee, is an exceptional ball-striker and can control his trajectories like no one else. If the putter is remotely hot, McIlroy could be sporting a green jacket on Sunday.

There you have it, one of these three golfers will win The Masters on Sunday. None of the three have ever won at Augusta, but that changes this weekend.
