Nobody, Including The Knicks, Knows Where The Hell Derrick Rose Is
UPDATE (12:56 p.m. EST Jan. 10): Rose explains to the media that he had to be with his family and that it didn’t have anything to do with basketball.
UPDATE (10:30 p.m. EST Jan. 9): Derrick Rose is alive according to Chris Mannix of The Vertical.
Derrick Rose wasn’t with the Knicks as they played host to the Pelicans on Monday night and nobody knows why.
According to Adrian Wojnarowski of The Vertical, nobody, including Rose’s own teammates, had any clue where the point guard was prior to the game.
Rose was benched in the Knicks’ 123–109 loss to the Pacers on Saturday night, maybe he’s pissed off about….
YEP, SOUNDS LIKE IT.
Saturday was 48-hours ago. This man was so heated after being benched he hasn’t gotten over it in 48 HOURS. Rose woke up this morning and was still so angry he was like nah, I’m not going to work today.
Rose is making $21.3 million this season.
We, nor anyone else, know of Rose’s whereabouts at this time. All joking aside, let’s hope it’s not a serious situation and that he simply just didn’t want to go play basketball for a living tonight.
