Bart Hubbuch, an NFL writer and columnist for the New York Post, hadn’t tweeted since Nov. 8 of 2016, but he stepped out of the shadows to deliver one of the dumbest tweets you’ll ever see.

First, he tweeted this:

After he fired that off, he obviously didn’t think he made his point clear enough so one minute later he tweeted this sick-ass comparison:

Does anyone know if Hubbuch is a Trump supporter or not? And of course he pinned the tweet to the top of his profile.

This man is comparing a very formal and peaceful transition of power to 9/11 and the attacks on Pearl Harbor. Are you shitting me, dude?

Almost 1,200 people died at Pearl Harbor and nearly 3,000 passed away on September 11. But sure, let’s compare the murder and death of nearly 5,000 people to Trump taking office.

This is disgusting. You may hate Trump more than you hate anything on this planet, but don’t compare a ceremony to two of the most tragic events in American history.

UPDATE: Hubbuch has apologized for his tweet comparing Trump’s inauguration to 9/11, but not Pearl Harbor. He also still has the tweet pinned to his profile:

SECOND UPDATE: Hubbuch has changed his pinned tweet to his apology.
