Isaiah Thomas Waves Off A Timeout And Pick-And-Roll To Hit A Game Winner
Isaiah Thomas is bad, bad (little)man.
He drilled a sick step-back game-winner on Friday night giving the Celtics a 103–101 win over the Hawks in Atlanta.
After the game as he addressed the media, Boston head coach Brad Stevens told reporters that he was going to call a timeout, but Thomas had different plans.
It gets better.
Stevens also said that he was going to call for a pick-and-roll for Thomas, but Thomas said no to that as well.
Needless to say, Thomas took over the final seconds of that game in every single way possible. He said no to his coach twice in the span of like four seconds then hit a nasty game-winner.
That’s a pretty good night for Mr. Thomas.
