Iowa State Kicker Cole Netten Made A Video Addressing All Of His Haters
College kickers receiving hate on social media is nothing new. In fact, if a kicker does miss a field goal these days and nobody tweets about it, does it really count as a miss?
Iowa State’s kicker Cole Netten wanted to say hello to all of his haters via this awesome video.
Most of the tweets featured in the video came from 2015. During that season he did go just 14-for-19 and missed an extra point, but he backed that up by going 16-for-17 in 2016 and being named to the AP’s All-Big 12’s First Team.
Iowa State went 2–10 this season and began the year with a loss to Northern Iowa. Netten and his field goal kicking may have been the brightest spots on the team.
With this power move put out to the world he certainly became a lot of people’s favorite player on what was a very bad Iowa State team.
