Introducing Shower Beer, Beer Specifically Brewed For You To Drink In The Shower
Yes. Yes. Yes.
Everybody, and I mean everybody, loves a good shower beer. How could you not? An ice-cold beer while taking a hot shower, please tell me what isn’t to like about that scenario.
Maybe you’re pre-gaming and you’re trying to kill two birds with one stone. Perhaps you are just casually drinking and just feel like taking a shower. Maybe you want to keep your buzz going from the night before.
There are plenty of scenarios as to when shower beers are fantastic. Come to think of it I don’t think there is a scenario where a shower beer is a bad idea. Nevertheless, there is now a beer specifically brewed for you to consume in the shower. It’s called Shower Beer.
The downfall of bringing a typical beer into the shower is that it’s bound to get hot quick unless of course you drink it at a fast-pace, but that takes the enjoyment out of it. Shower Beer takes that scenario out as the bottle is nearly half the size of a regular bottle and the ABV is 10% so you can down this beer quickly while also earning a pretty stiff buzz.
In sticking with the shower theme, the beer is said to have a soapy flavor as well.

“The taste, oddly enough, is also built to help match the showering atmosphere according to the beer’s maker. “I let the Shower Beer sit longer in the primary fermenter before dry hopping and cold crashing it compared to other PangPang beers,” PangPang brewery founder Fredrik Tunedal told Munchies. “This lets it develop a soapy flavor that in some beers is considered an ‘off’ flavor, but is just on point for the Shower Beer. The beer is heavily hopped with Citra [hops], and has a citrusy, soapy, and somewhat herbal profile.”
Not sure I’m running to the store immediately to grab a beer that tastes like actual soap, but hey, the idea is killer.
