Colin Cowherd Wondering If Tom Brady Is Playing For His Job On Sunday Is Painful To Watch
I’ll be the first to admit it that between the hot-take artists at Fox Sports — Colin Cowherd, Skip Bayless and Clay Travis — I’ll listen to Cowherd every day for the rest of my life before listening to Travis or Bayless, but this garbage he spewed about Tom Brady is unbelievably insane.
Tom Brady is the New England Patriots. He is one of the best quarterbacks to ever hold a football. Yes, he’s getting up there in age, but to think that if he doesn’t have a good game on Sunday and the Patriots don’t advance to the Super Bowl that Jimmy Garappolo has a legitimate chance to take over the team and the Pats will just move on from Brady is asinine.
Garoppolo has started two NFL games, and yes he won both of those games and good for him that he’s 25-years-old, but come on Cowherd.
Anyone know how many touchdowns Brady threw this season? 28. How many picks did he throw? Two. But did he complete his passes? Yeah, 67.4% of them which was fifth best in the NFL.
Oh, and he did all of that in 12 games? Yep.
Who knows if Cowherd actually thought of this mess on his own this morning or maybe he read some hot take on Twitter or a producer told him to get the views up by saying the dumbest thing imaginable about Brady. Nevertheless, it’s unbelievable.
