An Architecture Company Has Released Its Plan For A Skyscraper Hanging From An Asteroid

There are some dumbass ideas out there involving space, mankind and the human race’s future but this right here is so absurd there is no choice but to bring it to your attention.

So, Clouds Architecture Office released their very extensive plan for a skyscraper called Analemma Tower. This skyscraper is special, BECAUSE IT HANGS ABOVE THE EARTH FROM AN ASTEROID.
You may be thinking wait, asteroids aren’t balloons or anything and they sure as hell don’t just float above the planet and you’re exactly right. This skyscraper would be attached to an object orbiting the planet at 300 mph. The plan reveals the asteroid would be one forcibly put into orbit.
Oh, and for how tall the fake-ass skyscraper would be, yeah, try just under 105,000 feet. Absolutely absurd. And of course the idea is to build this thing in Dubai where they build absurdly awesome and ginormous skyscrapers.
CNN published a story about this wild idea and the mastermind Ostap Rudakevych told them the following. “Since humans have emerged from caves our buildings have been growing ever taller and lighter. We believe that some day buildings will break free from earths surface, releasing us from harmful floods, earthquakes and tsunamis. Analemma Tower is a speculative idea for how this might be achieved some time in the future.”
It sounds pretty incredible, but it also sounds a lot like shit you see in the movie Avatar.
